To All Drummers Who Are Struggling With Their Creativity
Christian Drummers: Are You Struggling with Learning New Drum Skills?
We are a community of faith-based drummers who play both in and out of the church
You’ve been practicing for hours daily but feel like you’re hitting a wall. [Or not practicing at all…]
You’ve been playing the same beats and fills for years but somehow feeling trapped in a loop of monotonous drumming.
You wish people would see you and respect you as a top-tier drummer who can play in a way that inspires others
You feel like there is more musical ability that you have inside of you, but you can’t access it
You are not alone, my friend.
Most Christian drummers have felt the same way one time or another and they have no idea how to get out of this frustrating place.
Believe it or not, there are two root problems causing these issues.
First, we have not placed a demand on people’s musical skills in the Christian world.
Simply put, we only need them to play just enough to get by on a Sunday morning (even though many of you are called to also play OUTSIDE of the church!)
We don’t demand greater levels of creativity.
But instead, we only ask people to copy songs that have been done a certain way.
That alone limits their creativity, and they blindly imitate what someone else did
And second, we don’t offer any precise training systems. Systems that will:
Because we, don’t offer this, we leave our drummers to fend for themselves. They scour the internet for random lessons and “tips” from other musicians.
So, they end up searching through thousands of YouTube “instructional” videos in desperation, trying to figure out what and how to practice.
Even when they find something useful to help them with their drumming, it is not part of a cohesive growth system.
They end up cherry-picking random “lessons.”
Your hands and feet can’t physically play what’s already in your brain.
That’s because you haven’t trained yourself in drumming using muscle memory-building techniques.
The key is that if you learn something where you achieve true muscle memory, you always remember how to do it.
Think about when you ride a bicycle. Everyone knows it’s the one thing you never forget to do.
If you haven’t touched a bike for 15+ years, you can still ride it without relearning how to balance yourself!
It’s almost freaky that something so hard to learn is something that you never forget.
And you know what’s great about training your muscle memory?
You no longer have to use your precious brain capacity to think about those movements!
That’s right. This frees up your brain, and can use it to other things, such as musicality and creativity.
The key is muscle memory. If you learn the drumming foundations in a way that builds true muscle memory, you will always remember it and never regress.
That’s why we designed the Drummers of Faith community and teaching system in this way:
To get what’s already inside your brain to flow out of your hands and feet by training your body to create drumming muscle memory.
When you boil it all down, there are only 8 areas of drumming that you need to focus on to unlock the creativity inside your head right now… and finally unlock your Drumming Muscle.
If you understand these 8 areas while having a proven and scientific way to work on each of them…
…you will blow the ceiling off of your current drumming capabilities and open up brand-new creativity.
This is how I’ve done it and how my clients got significant results.
Drummers of Faith is a community of Christian drummers who are using a proven learning system together whether they are called to play inside the church or outside of the 4 walls.
We want to help you have a bottomless arsenal of beats and fills SO THAT you can inspire others to fulfill their drumming potential
Imagine the next generation of Younger drummers looking up to you and asking, “How did you do that, and how can I learn that?”
The program’s core revolves around the F.A.C.T.S. Drumming System (Foundations And Components Training System).
Following this system will help you break through the ceiling of stagnant creativity.
With this system, you’ll be out of this frustrating prison of having a limited skillset and you will be able to:
I've been a New York-based professional touring drummer and worship pastor for over two decades.
I’ve played with renowned artists like Paul Wilbur, Steve Swanson, Rick Pino, Joshua Aaron, Misty Edwards, and many more.
My journey led me from a bachelor’s degree in music performance (percussion) to studying under the great Alan Abel of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
For the past twenty+ years, I’ve dedicated myself to the church worship movement in New York and New Jersey where I’ve led and taught musicians from over 150 different churches while still touring and pastoring.
Included in the app is a library of practice loops in multiple B.P.M.s.
Can’t read music? No problem! I’ll show you a slow, detailed breakdown of every drumming exercise in the program.
You’ll get access to a private tribe of like-minded Drummers of Faith worldwide in the DOF app: gear talk, coaching, questions, and accountability.
Log in your practice time and focus and choose to share with the community for accountability.
“I had given up on ever becoming a better drummer until I found Drummers of Faith. Within weeks even people around me started to notice a difference in my playing”
“I couldn’t believe how fast I was improving. It was like my drumming was improving while I was not even behind the drums, and it all applied to my actual gig playing”
👉 Christian Drummers who are frustrated because they can’t unlock their creativity are limited in their skill set and feel alone in their musical endeavors.
👉 Music Teachers/Church pastors/music directors who want to see their drummers thrive and add a whole new dimension to their worship experience
“Having a system to follow has let me commit to a practice routine in only 25 minutes a day and I know that I am hitting all of the necessary areas of drumming in this short routine”
This course is based upon the foundational principle of training yourself correctly to build muscle memory. The longer you implement incorrect techniques and trainings, the more solidified these incorrect habits become.
YES! In fact, starting this system when you are in the beginning stages of your drumming life will help to build proper techniques, fundamentals, and muscle memory as foundations.
These happen approximately once/month based on the availability of our guest instructors.
nope! Although this is a community focused around Christian values and ideas, anyone is welcome to join us.
